This position involves driving sales growth and profitability through strategic relationship building with key partners, creating and executing sales strategies, ensuring product availability, and aligning trade marketing activities with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Modern Trade Channel
  • Create short-term and long-term marketing and sales plans, including Joint Business Plans (JBP's)
  • Ensure in-store availability of all SKUs, streamlining distribution and logistics to meet customer demands
  • Align and execute trade marketing and promotional activities with the modern trade sales strategy, maximizing visibility and impact
  • Lead negotiations, manage promotion budgets, and develop a portfolio management strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Compile reports and analysis on consumer behavior and trends, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve consistent growth and exceed targets

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Key Account Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the Modern Trade Channel, with a proven track record of success
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills an advantage
  • Proven negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with a strong motivation to succeed
  • A proactive, open-minded individual with a hands-on attitude and flexible personality, able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • A goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results
