Master Data Specialist with German

At Iron Mountain, we're committed to preserving the integrity of our customers' valuable assets. As a Master Data Specialist with German language skills, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our customer master data records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restore contracts with clients responsible for 80% of revenue in DACH countries, validate key master data, and reconcile types of services and their rates in our systems with clients' legal documents.
  • Locate physical or scanned copies of valid contracts, and in the absence of these, contact clients for their copies or initiate a signature of a new document.
  • Clean up customer information settings across various systems and set a history of previous price increases.
  • Scan restored contracts to create a repository and database.
  • Collect customer critical master data, identify historical, non-standard requirements in contracts, and clean and reconcile clients' hierarchies across SalesForce, Ops systems, and Oracle.
  • Eliminate duplicated or obsolete accounts across systems and develop solutions to avoid master data mistakes in business-as-usual mode.
  • Analyze data integrity, conduct audits and reviews, and provide expert solutions to intricate business problems.
  • Engage with stakeholders to design and implement data quality initiatives and set up reports of data errors for ongoing inter-departmental communication.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and German.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and understand data quality principles and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Sound experience in customer services, administrative, or analytical work environments, with a minimum of 2 years related functional customer master data experience.
