Job Title: Technical Writing Team Lead

At Ocado Group, we're looking for a skilled Technical Writing Team Lead to join our team and lead the development of high-quality technical content for our Ocado Smart Platform (OSP). As a Technical Writing Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing a team of technical writers, ensuring that our content meets the highest standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technical writers to develop and maintain high-quality technical content for OSP.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand content requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain content strategies, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all content.
  • Manage content workflows, including planning, creation, review, and publication.
  • Ensure content meets accessibility, usability, and search engine optimization (SEO) standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date content.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to inform content strategy and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional written English and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing and leading technical writers, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality content.
  • Strong understanding of technical writing principles, including documentation best practices, style guides, and content management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers.
  • Experience with content management systems, such as JIRA, and version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Language: English (C1), Polish (B2).
