This exciting opportunity as an Associate Picture Editor, part of our Global Pictures Desk team, offers a chance to work with a world-renowned multimedia news provider. Our mission is to deliver trusted intelligence that powers humans and machines to make smart decisions.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering images from editors and photographers worldwide, researching and editing photos and captions, and maintaining close operational links between pictures, text, video, and online operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography and journalism, excellent English language skills, and a working knowledge of Apple computers and Adobe Photoshop. They will also possess sound news and pictures judgment, with the ability to spot a breaking story.
Job Responsibilities- Gather images from editors and photographers worldwide
- Research and edit photos and captions
- Maintain close operational links between pictures, text, video, and online operations
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $70,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This includes market-leading benefits, including paid volunteering days and a wellbeing scheme, private healthcare, and a Multisport card.
