Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Controller to oversee the sales and business development performance of our Gerflor sales organisation in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Your Role

  • Analyse and monitor the sales performance and business results of regional entities by segment/product.
  • Act as a Business Partner for Sales and Finance Managers in the region.
  • Contribute to business development plans (pricing, commercial action, marketing, segmentation).
  • Analyse and validate investment plans in line with Group standards (payback, ROI, etc.).
  • Deliver insightful reports to the Group in accordance with deadlines and Group format standards – based on solid data and robust operational process.
  • Coordinate and support the budgeting process for the respective entities incl. data collection & consolidation.
  • Oversee and improve internal control measures and ensure legal/Group policy compliance.
  • Identify efficiency improvement opportunities and initiate corrective action.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance/Business Administration.
  • Min. 5 years of working experience in international business/Sales controlling, FP&A or auditing.
  • In-depth knowledge of business finance and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in preparing relevant business reports.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS standard.
  • Adaptability and very good communication skills.
  • Ability to drive change and improve operational process.
  • High proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g. Cognos) and knowledge of ERP-Systems (e.g. JDE) – knowledge of additional consolidations tools would be a plus.
  • Business fluent English skills, German skills would be a great advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (Germany and HQ in France).
