Data Analyst for Enterprise Data Standards

Job Description

As a Data Analyst for Enterprise Data Standards, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining enterprise-wide data standards and policies. This includes developing and maintaining a Business Information Model (BIM) for each data domain, working collaboratively with business and IT partners to implement data standards, and providing consultative services to agile delivery teams to ensure data governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a BIM for each data domain, aligned across the enterprise
  • Partner with Data Architects and business SMEs to create and maintain data standards
  • Work collaboratively with business and IT partners to implement data standards
  • Provide consultative services to agile delivery teams to ensure data governance best practices
  • Participate in data governance/stewardship communities of practice
  • Utilize enterprise-approved tools to develop reproducible data-flows that fulfill reporting requirements
  • Implement testing and monitor quality of developed data-flows and reporting outputs

Requirements:

  • Experience with advanced SQL queries and familiarity with another programming language (Python, R, Java, or Scala)
  • Familiarity with data taxonomy and ability to build small data models
  • Experience with Power BI to produce reports
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with multiple business areas and key business leads
  • Experience within financial crime (AML/CTF, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Sanctions) is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is a requirement
