About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our team responsible for developing and adapting internal tools and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily tools development, supporting code compilation and integration, improving build performance, and developing new features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, motivating, and energizing the team.
  • Conducting regular 1-1s with team members.
  • Cultivating a positive team culture aligned with company values and goals.
  • Cascading and escalating information.
  • Making employment decisions.
  • Maintaining and improving the build system.
  • Developing and managing CI/CD systems.
  • Code compilation and integration.
  • Optimizing pipelines and processes.
  • Improving build performance.
  • Collaborating with the development team to integrate new deployment processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining automation processes.
  • Maintaining source control branches and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Providing Perforce support for the team.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Manager or Lead.
  • Strong proficiency in C# backend development (ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, primarily .NET 8).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development in gaming.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of Postgres or other RDBMS.
  • Experience with source control software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to taking ownership, setting goals, and driving initiatives independently.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration, supporting colleagues, and achieving shared goals.
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, handle ambiguity, and excel under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with continuous integration concepts, centralized CI, Perforce.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with AWS.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch/MongoDB.
