Join our team at Zurich Insurance Company and contribute to the development of our global shared service platform. As an Internal Controls Testing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal controls testing activities for assigned reporting units.
- Support senior and/or manager in analyzing financial reporting risks and completion.
- Test sensitive controls with highly confidential evidence.
- Support the ICFR Testing Team in ad-hoc ICFR/CECS/ICIF testing related tasks and projects.
- Complete deliverables in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by the ICFR/CECS/ICIF Testing Senior and/or Manager.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
- 1+ years of postgraduate experience in internal controls, compliance, or audit.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting processes and controls or audit.
- English C1.
- Portuguese or Spanish or Italian B2.
- Previous experience dealing with global/regional audit or internal controls engagements will be viewed as a strong asset.
- A recognized accounting or audit qualification or willingness to pursue it.
- Knowledge of organization and control environments, audit risk assessment, internal and external audit standards.
- Availability to travel between 5-10%.
