Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)

Your Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee month-end closing procedures for our UK, US, and Poland-based entities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with standards, budget, and deadlines.
  • They will be responsible for monthly consolidation of financial results and analysis, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • This role involves collaboration with the Group Financial Controller to address audit queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • The successful candidate will review and post accruals and provisions, prepaid expenses, PPE, and intangible assets, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany balance reconciliation are critical components of this role, requiring attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Transfer pricing calculations and forecast/budget planning are essential responsibilities, driving business growth and strategy.
  • Statutory and group accounts preparation is a key aspect of this position, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Aiding in processes and controls improvement, this individual will develop instructions, work on systems, and reports development to enhance operational efficiency.

Our Requirements

  • We are looking for a positive and energetic person who is eager to take on responsibility and drive results.
  • Candidates should possess a degree in Finance or Accounting and experience with IFRS/US GAAP is a must.
  • English language proficiency at B2/C1 level is essential, as it is our company language.
  • Relevant experience in general ledger accounting in a multi-company and multi-currency environment is required.
  • Hands-on experience in month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations is essential for this role.
  • An advanced MS Office user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) level is a must.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is beneficial.
  • US Sales Tax and US Companies' experience would be a nice-to-have but not necessary.
