Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the SC Indirect Materials buying team, supporting Europe markets. The team's primary responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet operational needs, taking into account price, quality, and delivery.

This role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure continuity of operations, support conversion initiatives, govern procurement policy compliance, and assist sites with urgent spare parts requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve requisitions and manage invoice queries in alignment with the accounts payable team.
  • Oversee order placement and delivery, ensuring requisition compliance and adherence.
  • Initiate and support OEM conversion activities.
  • Manage SLA agreements with major suppliers.
  • Govern compliance, track, and measure performance.
  • Arrange ad-hoc SP requests from sites and sector teams.
  • Liaise with engineering regarding non-compliance reports (NCR) and supplier quality issues.
  • Update purchase information records and sourcing lists.
Requirements:
  • Excellent working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering parts and nature of works, demonstrated by a suitable HNC diploma.
  • Working experience in a Materials Management of technical products/services environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaboratively and proactively work with multi-functional teams.
  • Flexible, organized, and able to handle competing priorities.
  • ERP working knowledge (SAP/Oracle), Buying platforms (e.g., Ariba), Power Apps, and BI.
  • Excel & Office package knowledge.
Estimated Salary:

€60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
