About the Job

We're searching for a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development of our game's cinematic vision. As a key member of our Cinematics team, you'll work closely with industry experts to create captivating cinematics that immerse our players in the game world.

You will be responsible for crafting compelling scenes that showcase exceptional pacing, acting, cinematography, editing, and timing. Effective communication with Designers, other departments, and Leads is crucial to ensure seamless storytelling and gameplay integration.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Develop gripping scenes with outstanding pacing, acting, cinematography, editing, and timing.
  • Collaborate with Designers, other departments, and Leads to refine visual storytelling and guarantee perfect continuity between story and gameplay.
  • Coordinate actor staging and camera settings.
  • Maintain high-quality work completion within set deadlines.
  • Comply with established pipelines and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

To excel in this role, you must have a deep understanding of storytelling principles and their application in scene creation. A comprehensive grasp of acting, including posing and timing, as well as expertise in cinematography and editing, are essential. Additionally, experience directing and/or acting, working with screenplays, and contributing to AAA games development projects from inception to completion are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A profound comprehension of storytelling principles and their application in scene creation.
  • Superior knowledge of acting, including posing and timing.
  • Exceptional skills in cinematography and editing.
  • Proven experience in directing and/or acting.
  • Experience working with screenplays.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AAA games development, specifically in long-form projects from inception to completion.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal (preferably), Unity, Godot, or REDkit.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to company-specific software.
