We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager to join our team at Kevin Edward. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing production environments, ensuring the stability and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in DevOps, automation, and cloud technologies, with expertise in Docker, Linux, Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of Java-based web applications, Tomcat, and Apache is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and secure production environments, addressing security issues promptly and proactively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Automate processes to enhance system reliability and self-healing capabilities, utilizing tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
- Deploy code and manage application environments using CI/CD tools, ensuring seamless integration with development teams.
- Collaborate with development teams on environment planning and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Work in a multi-location, shift-based team to support 24/7 business operations, ensuring around-the-clock coverage and responsiveness.
- Prepare run books, documentation, and follow incident/change management protocols, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies, with a strong focus on automation and scripting.
- Expertise in Docker, Linux, Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience in containerization and deployment setups.
- Strong knowledge of Java-based web applications, Tomcat, and Apache, with experience in Agile methodology and SDLC.
- Familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes deployment setups, with the ability to design and implement scalable architectures.
