About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our team at Ecovadis. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and reporting on the quality and robustness of sustainability management systems of companies from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess company management system documentation using the EcoVadis methodology
  • Extract and synthesize material sustainability data related to environmental, social, ethics, and supply chain
  • Follow up with rated companies to clarify specific issues related to their assessment
  • Review updates regarding the EcoVadis methodology and apply them to the assessment process
  • Complete quality checks during the assessment process
  • Work on daily targets and confirm the implementation of a rated company's sustainability management system components using the EcoVadis methodology guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of professional experience in a related field, ideally in sustainability or sustainable development
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and oral)
  • High proficiency in one of the following languages: Italian, German, or Portuguese
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree with a focus on sustainability
  • Proficiency in G-Suite applications
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence to work independently and autonomously, manage time effectively, and know when to ask for help
  • Ability to work to daily targets
  • Being adaptable to change
  • Communicate with honesty and kindness
  • Collaborative and seeks to build trusting relationships
