We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team at Rite NRG. As a key member of our global team, you'll work on a project for a leading financial technology company, leveraging advanced technologies like Microsoft Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake to drive innovation and growth in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ETL Pipeline Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines and data warehouses to support batch and real-time use cases.
  • Query Performance Optimization: Optimize and tune query performance, data loads, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Code Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve code or data issues through innovative, concise solutions.
  • Global Team Collaboration: Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions to establish design standards, create solution documents, and conduct cross-training and onboarding activities.
  • SDLC Process Participation: Participate in the global SDLC process by producing artifacts, conducting peer code reviews, and performing unit tests.
  • Task Management and Documentation: Work with Jira/Kanban for task management and utilize Confluence for documentation.
  • Debugging and Root Cause Analysis: Debug SQL queries and perform root cause analysis in collaboration with multiple business and IT stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Data Integration Experience: 6-10 years of experience in data integration and orchestration services.
  • Data Warehousing Concepts: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools like Talend Cloud Data Integration.
  • SQL Proficiency: Proficient in SQL with strong debugging skills.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with Microsoft Azure and Snowflake, including database query and performance tuning.
  • Service Architecture: Experience in service architecture and providing data-driven solutions to client needs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Technical Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Financial Services Industry: Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Tool Experience: Previous experience with tools like Qlik Replicate and Compose (Change Data Capture) is advantageous.
  • Data Provider Knowledge: Knowledge of third-party data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, or other rating agencies is beneficial.
