At BNP Paribas SA oddział w Polsce, we're seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll provide timely and efficient assistance to users of our applications, ensuring seamless system performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to users of our systems, resolving technical issues and improving system performance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of support issues and their resolutions.
  • Build a working knowledge of our systems and business area to provide high-level support.
  • Handle performance-related issues in our applications.
  • Process requests for specific actions, such as processing, extraction, and specific work.
  • Create control points to ensure smooth work processes and draft ad-hoc reporting.
  • Prepare environments for releases and ensure implementation and pre-production tests are carried out.

Requirements:

  • Technical skills: SQL, ability to write complex queries, understanding of PL/SQL code, SAS, VB, and Unix.
  • Material skills: Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), Unix/Linux scripting (ksh).
  • Software skills: Webshere (WSTX), MQ Series, schedulers (Control-M).
  • Framework skills: Practical experience with ITIL best practices, particularly in problem, incident, and change management.
  • Functional skills: Fund Industry / Transfer Agent, Private Capital (asset).
  • Systems skills: Multifonds TA/ eFront FIA (asset).
  • Languages: English (mandatory).
