About the Job:

This position falls within the Digital Technology Department, operating under the Global Development Center within the DIGITAL and IT function at JTI. Specifically, the DIGITECH department, housed within the GDC, plays a critical role in defining the scope and elucidating the digital technology and architecture strategy aligned with the business vision.

The Delivery Manager will be under the direct supervision of the Delivery & Release Team Manager. The primary focus of this role is to empower and lead the Delivery/TPO (Technical Product Ownership) and team, overseeing the planning, agile realization, and continuous evolution of capabilities with end-to-end ownership within DIGITECH. The role is positioned to transform DIGITECH into a fully-fledged product organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Delivery & Technical Ownership
    • Bringing in-depth technical expertise in solution development
    • Understanding of business requirements and transferring them into project deliverables
    • Assessing technical requirements when selecting new solutions (focusing on mobile apps)
    • Ensuring DIGITECH solutions align with the latest industry standards, technological trends, and best practices
    • Enhancing the competitiveness and viability of the mobile app landscape
  • Release
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define release scope, objectives, and timelines
    • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive release plan, including release schedules, milestones, and dependencies
    • Coordinating release activities, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned
    • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in eCommerce platforms, Azure, and Magento
    • Staying current with CI/CD industry tests, test automation, DevSecOps
  • SLAs and KPIs
    • Establishing and monitoring service levels and performance metrics to measure IT Service Catalog team effectiveness and productivity
    • Providing accurate reports and metrics for management reporting
    • Driving pro-consumer & customer initiatives and activities through KPI & SLA setup, to reduce time to resolution, reduce number of incidents etc
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Proactively identifying potential improvements to DES support and operations
    • Evaluating possible solutions and implementing required changes in collaboration with other team members and external providers
    • Ensuring optimal operational efficiency at lowest cost through delivery of targets against strategic objectives of the function: Security, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People
  • Operational Risk Management
    • Establishing methods of data collection, aligning sources, recording or requesting relevant data from internal or external sources
    • Analyzing risk, building and updating risk scenarios, estimating probability, estimating impact, defining risk response strategies and measures
    • Maintaining risk profile, risk inventory, key resources to sustain operations, aggregating risk scenarios, defining risk indicators
