About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting our global network and infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues in real-time using tools such as Pager Duty, SolarWinds, and ServiceNow.
  • Escalating critical issues to Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineers and 3rd party vendors.
  • Providing 1st line support for network, infrastructure, and digital services across 50 offices and production centers globally.
  • Writing outage notifications and managing tickets in ServiceNow, following Discovery's Incident Management process.
  • Maintaining knowledge bases and writing processes to aid others in the future.
  • Ensuring detailed shift handovers among colleagues.
  • Providing support to the Duty Operations Manager in managing high-priority outages and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinating with vendors and 3rd party suppliers on issue reporting, resolution, and system migrations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in administrative, troubleshooting, and technical support in a technology department.
  • Flexibility to work early morning, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
  • Experience working with Active Directory and ServiceNow.
  • Basic networking knowledge and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, or similar computer software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
