Key Responsibilities

  1. Own VAT return preparation, Intrastat declarations, and indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  2. Provide VAT advice on new business initiatives.
  3. Support VAT audits, including documentation preparation and addressing tax authorities' queries.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business operations and tax implications.
  5. Develop strategic tax plans to optimise tax efficiency.
  6. Stay up-to-date with evolving tax laws and regulations.
  7. Manage periodic tax reporting and address tax-related queries.

About You

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proven experience in handling indirect taxes, preferably within the Big4 or in-house environments, with expertise in multi-jurisdictional fillings, particularly in the European market.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
