R&D Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled R&D Procurement Manager to join our team at 9605 GSK Services Sp z o.o. This role will be responsible for managing a category of outsourced services needed for GSK's clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms for procurement of goods and services contracts in line with business requirements.
  • Ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and supplier performance management is in place to deliver value to GSK.
  • Lead strategic review with in-depth category knowledge.
  • Accountable for end-to-end management of the Data Licensing category.
  • Lead sourcing events and data-driven negotiations to deliver on business requirements.
  • Identify contracting and overall process simplification opportunities across Clinical Services Procurement.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the GSK culture and R&D priorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Global Procurement or equivalent function.
  • Experience developing project plans, executing contracts, and leading negotiations.
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree in Business Management, Business Operations, Mathematics or Science.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in leveraging AI to simplify daily ways of working and drive process efficiency.
  • Ability to analyse and present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to balance priorities and work independently.
