We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at MAHLE. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing and visualizing data using Microsoft Power BI, developing datasets and reports, and administering work areas in Microsoft Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing and visualizing data using Microsoft Power BI
- Developing datasets and reports for Business Units, Service Units, and Corporate Functions
- Administering work areas in Microsoft Power BI and managing associated authorization concepts
- Managing, developing, and administering processes for integrating state-of-the-art technologies and tools for report analysis and visualization in a cloud environment
- Preparing, implementing, and supporting global meetings, workshops, and training sessions in the area of business intelligence and front-end development
Requirements
- Proficiency in using analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI to analyze and visualize data
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Very good English skills (min. B2)
- Expertise in the workflows of visual design from identifying business goals to delivering impactful visualization and the processes in-between that make it happen
- Experience with SQL for extracting, aggregating, and processing big data pipelines using Hadoop, EMR, and NoSQL databases
- Ability to gather requirements, build prototypes, gather feedback, and design the final outcome of visualization projects
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effectively collaborating with teams and presenting findings to stakeholders
