Data Engineer - Large Scale Data Architectures

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and operationalizing data solutions for large-scale data architectures across business and functions. You will work closely with data architects, DevOps engineers, and analysts to ensure quality deliverables and knowledge sharing.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop conceptual and semantic data models for integrating, exploring, and retrieving data from heterogeneous data sources and IT systems.
  • Take over the data engineering tasks for the design and implementation of data pipelines as part of overarching, use case-specific solution architectures.
  • Administer and automate numerous operational processes based on DevOps technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins, and relevant cloud services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions.
Your Qualifications
  • University degree in (Applied) Computer Science/Software Engineering, or akin qualification.
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources and IT systems, e.g., ERP/SAP, DWH/SAP-BW, Web Services, CRM/Salesforce, MES, etc.
  • Knowledge in working with Cloud environments and services, preferably with Azure.
  • Fluent in English spoken and written, German is also beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with colleagues across the organization influenced by different working cultures.
  • Experienced in DevOps (CI/CD, cloud-based), and in agile environments combined with profound agile mindset and corresponding experience in daily work.
