Job Summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a Senior IT Risk Management Specialist to lead the evolution of our IT Risk Management program. This critical component of our Cyber Security Maturity Program requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating unknown IT risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a program of audits to identify, document, analyze, and treat risks across the organization.
  • Engage with business, IT, IS, and project team members to execute assessments and deploy controls.
  • Conduct risk discovery audits and recommend risk treatments.
  • Monitor the treatment of risks identified in prior audits.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and new information security regulations and laws that may impact Smith+Nephew.
Requirements
  • A strong background in IT audit, information security, and risk management, evidenced by relevant industry certification.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
  • One or more professional qualifications related to information security and risk management, such as CISA, CIA, CCSP, or CRISC.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in medical devices or pharmaceuticals, is an advantage.
