Business Overview

TE Connectivity’s Product Management Teams drive all aspects of a product, from development to manufacturing to marketing. The teams are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute product line strategies.
Lead market growth initiatives and define new product roadmaps.
Initiate cost reduction programs to increase product line profitability.
Develop and implement market research to define correct pricing levels for new product ranges.
Establish and maintain processes for continuous tracking of market prices, target cost analysis, and cost-out programs.
Maintain and update business cases and P+L based on market and project updates.
Work closely with Marketing to support VOC activities and create a Marketing launch package to support the growth of new product ranges.
Facilitate external demonstrations, training, and field trials with customers to drive product acceptance and approval.
Define regional strategies for product ranges and create detailed execution plans.
Manage gross margin improvements and increase cost competitiveness with focus on product and process enhancements.
Provide relevant forecasts for new product ranges, including volume, value, margin, production capacity, and investments.
Compile and present regular reports on product range performance against relevant key performance metrics.

Qualifications and Experience Required

5+ years of experience in Product Management or Commercial roles.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Relevant product or industry experience in the Energy Power Industry.
Entrepreneurial outlook combined with strategic thinking.
Leadership and ability to positively influence teams.
Good communication skills and ability to establish and motivate teams in a cross-functional environment.
Results and solution-oriented.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent level of English.
Experience working within a Global matrix organisation.
Financial analysis skills.
