**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer - AI Platform Architect to join our Digital Transformation System team at Brown Brothers Harriman.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant software development experience, including experience leading a team and guiding junior Java developers to deliver business value. A strong understanding of enterprise SDLC and application deployment procedures is essential, as well as high proficiency in development practices such as unit testing, Continuous Integration, refactoring, and clean code.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of AI technologies to drive business transformation. This includes developing maintainable, well-documented application functionality with an eye toward standardization, common components, simplicity, performance, robustness, and other attributes of enterprise-strength solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Leading the design and delivery of critical applications meeting business requirements, at high quality and within given deadlines.
  • Coaching and mentoring of team members as well as refinement of software development processes.
  • Developing maintainable, well-documented application functionality with an eye toward standardization, common components, simplicity, performance, robustness, and other attributes of enterprise-strength solutions.
  • Contributing technical expertise to defining application requirements in collaboration with business analysts, business representatives, and others.

**Requirements:**

  • 7+ years of relevant software development experience.
  • Experience leading a team and guiding junior Java developers to deliver business value.
  • Willingness to take responsibility, commit, and be a driving force within the project.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

The successful candidate will be able to adapt to Scrum/Agile methodologies and have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
