About the Role:

MetrixLab, a dynamic global market research and insights company, is seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to strengthen our team in Germany. As a Research Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting globally renowned clients across various industries, from research design to delivery of insights. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients drive business growth through data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to a wide range of studies, from initial brief to final delivery to clients.
  • Ensure the highest quality, accurate reports are sent to clients within agreed timescales.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their markets, and helping to manage and develop accounts.
  • Analyse and synthesise data to create interpretive, insightful reports and other outputs to meet client objectives.
  • Present professional and authoritative insights to clients at all levels.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective and timely project delivery.
  • Contribute to company initiatives, including new products, analysis techniques, training, and social programs.
  • Coach and manage junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to grow accounts, supporting research proposals and pitches.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative market research.
  • Proven track record of leading projects across different industry sectors.
  • Deep understanding of advanced statistical techniques (e.g. segmentation, conjoint).
  • Experience in online and mobile research projects.
  • Ability to lead multi-country, continuous studies as well as ad-hoc projects.
  • Native-level German skills (spoken and written) and excellent English skills (spoken and written).
  • Experience in people management is a plus, especially for Senior Research Managers.
