About the Role:

The Business Control Specialist II will be responsible for conducting information security assessments of suppliers, advising management on risk mitigation, and supporting the evolution of vendor risk assessment processes. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to determine business risk and collaborate across business lines to lead risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct information security assessments of suppliers, including advising management on risk mitigation.
  • Support the evolution and continuous improvement of vendor risk assessment processes.
  • Perform third-party compliance risk tracking, trending, analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Provide guidance to business partners on information security regulatory requirements and internal policy.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the third-party risk assessment strategy, methodology, and process.
About You:

We are looking for a self-starter with strong analytical skills, experience in information security, risk management, or compliance, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should have a working knowledge of the financial industry and experience in third-party security ratings solutions. Relevant security certifications, such as ISO27001LA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP, are a plus.

You will work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines. As a team player, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our goals.
