About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our Regional HR Team at Mattel. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the daily tasks of our team, including recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, and maintaining digital employee records.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting the primary recruiter in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, initial phone interviews, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for employee life cycle processes (onboarding, transfer, offboarding), including preparing employment documentation and ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Providing general support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining updated employee records in HR Database Administration/ Workday.
  • Supporting the HR Team with internal communication.
  • Assisting with HR projects and initiatives, such as performance reviews, training sessions, and employee engagement programs.
  • Providing administrative support to local HR Teams.

What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional HR experience.
  • A minimum of 1+ years' experience working in generalist HR.
  • Experience in recruitment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Workday is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
