The AP Specialist with Czech is a key role in driving AP excellence activities for all markets in scope of the AP EMEA – AGS Warsaw. This role requires a strong understanding of accounts payable, systems, and processes, as well as excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder service requests, support challenging invoices, and act as a subject matter expert on AP Systems.

A typical day in this role includes:

  • Collaboration with the AGS invoice processing team to ensure smooth processing and resolution of invoices.
  • Invoice corrections, non-standard document posting, and follow-up on blocked invoices and aged open items.
  • Proactive follow-up activities for aged items and performing related Compliance control (SOX Compliance) and other internal controls.
  • Closing collaboration with other R2P stakeholders within the process and the T&E team in AGS Warsaw.
  • Driving a continuous improvement mindset in the organization.

What you'll bring to Alcon Polska:

  • Fluent English and Czech.
  • About 2 years of experience in a finance department, Account Payable team.
  • Experience in a shared services environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with SAP (nice to have).
  • Team player with very good communication skills.
