Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by supervising the final product's quality according to the client quality standards, following the control guidelines defined by the Quality Department.
Main Responsibilities:- Communicate the claims of the clients in the plant quality meetings and facilitate coordination among the rest of Quality Department functions.
- Establish a periodical and effective communication channel with the customer to ensure comfort and facilitate problem-solving.
- Coordinate the solution of problems detected by the customer through team group problem-solving methodologies.
- Administer the selection of defective material in customers' sites and communicate internal selection guidelines to the Plant Quality Engineer.
- Verify the effectiveness of actions taken by problem-solving groups.
- Maintain the application of self-control/prevention actions and apply them to similar products/processes whenever possible.
- Develop knowledge of work methods for each customer and create documentation for their products from initial samples to line products.
- Participate in FMEA definition and revision, Control Plan, and other necessary documentation teams.
- Coordinate plant customers' visits and audits, prepare customer visit presentations, and maintain the Quality System in areas of responsibility.
- Participate in third-party audits preparation, following guidelines settled by the audit system coordinator: Plant Quality Engineer.
- Analyze production, measurement, and control needs to satisfy customers' requirements.
- Ensure effective use of quality program modules.
- Suggest and execute improvements for an annual improvement plan based on historical customer problems, potential problems, and future needs detected.
- Academic background: Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
- Languages: Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar position
- Additional training: Knowledge in Quality and Environmental Systems would be of additional value. Knowledge in current legislation as IATF, automotive standards, basic VDA core tools, Customer Specific Standards, and risk basic thinking.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and performance.
