Famous retail brand Michael Page is seeking a Tax Specialist with Italian language expertise to join their Katowice-based shared service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a highly organized Tax Specialist who can collaborate with the tax team on tax provision calculations for statutory and US-GAAP books.
  • This role requires monitoring income tax payments and reconciling tax-related GL accounts in accordance with applicable tax rules.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely submission of income tax returns and compliance with tax obligations.
  • Audits by tax authorities and VAT-related inquiries also fall under the scope of this position.
  • We need a professional who can support the indirect tax team in preparing VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and VAT GL reconciliations.
  • In addition, the ideal candidate will conduct SOX controls related to tax processes.
  • Gathering and analyzing data for annual Transfer Pricing documentation and reviewing Transfer Pricing reports is another essential task.
  • The successful candidate will calculate depreciation and amortization based on applicable tax rules.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An education in Finance is necessary for this role.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian languages is required.
  • Previous experience in an indirect tax-related role is essential.
