Job Description:

Risk Management and IT Security Specialist

Award-winning Warsaw-based company with a hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management and IT Security Specialist to join our client, a leading player in the online banking sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strengthening the organization's IT risk posture and ensuring that information systems meet security standards.

This role is crucial in protecting sensitive data and maintaining customer trust in an evolving digital landscape. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and assessing IT security risks across infrastructure and applications
  • Implementing and maintaining IT security controls and compliance measures
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve risk mitigation strategies
  • Conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Maintaining and managing security documentation and risk registers
  • Supporting identity and access management processes
  • Coordinating incident response efforts and follow-up actions
  • Analyzing technical incidents reported to second and third line Service Desk
  • Participating in the development of IT security policies and procedures
  • Providing input on security requirements for new systems and tools

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • A degree in a technical field, preferably in IT or information security
  • Strong technical understanding of IT systems and infrastructures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Active Directory, and Windows environments
  • Experience working on second or third line IT support
  • Familiarity with identity and access management systems
  • Understanding of IT security standards and best practices
  • Experience in the financial sector or with telecom service providers
  • Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools
