Currently, we are looking for a candidate for the position of EndPoint Security Engineer.

This is a remote job with the possibility of hybrid mode and an office in Poznań, Poland.

The contract type is a contract (B2B by Hays Poland).

The estimated salary is up to 190 net/h + VAT.

The industry is Pharma.

The project duration is until December 2025.

The working hours are European standard.

We need someone to implement and configure new endpoint security tools and remove or uninstall old software.

Job Description

The EndPoint Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and managing secure solutions according to organizational architectural designs, best practices, and regulatory or compliance requirements.

The engineer will deliver these solutions in accordance with the organization's needs.

The EndPoint Security Engineer contributes to the corporate security strategy with security leadership and other senior security staff.

The engineer implements, monitors, and manages secure solutions addressing modern-day issues.

Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and operational support of hardware, software, customer applications, managed solutions, and service provider relationships.
  • Implement technical and business requirements for data protection solutions, participate in project reviews, documentation processes.
  • Facilitate complex technology changes on multiple platforms with global customers.
  • Respond to and handle service and escalation tickets within SLA expectations.
  • Actively participate in security team meetings facilitating secure technical and business design.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities based on data.
  • Knowledge transfer and communication of designs and/or implementation plans.
  • Develop security test plans from architectural design. Identify deficiencies and make enhancements to ensure production is not impacted.
  • Support and provide analysis of service initiatives and technology changes, as directed.

Requirements

We require proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on endpoint security.

Experience with endpoint security platforms such as antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems is necessary.

  • Proficiency in managing and supporting endpoint security solutions, including but not limited to Firewalls, VPNs, SEIM, NAC, IPS, Advanced Malware Systems, Endpoint Security Agents, Sandboxing Technologies, DLP, Operating Systems, and Encryption Technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Fluency in English.
