Sustainability and Compliance Position

This position at Hitachi Vantara Corporation is critical in advancing the company's sustainability and compliance goals, focusing on supply chain emissions reduction and adherence to emerging regulations. Key responsibilities include process improvements and supplier collaboration.

Main Job Duties:

  1. Establishing and maintaining data collection and reporting processes for sustainability and compliance metrics.
  2. Liaising with regional teams to ensure timely implementation of SCM Sustainability and Compliance processes.
  3. Fostering strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive collaborative engagement.
  4. Overseeing supplier sustainability assessments and improvement programs facilitated through EcoVadis.
  5. Maintaining accurate and accessible data for sustainability-related activities.
  6. Assisting in the global rollout of supplier sustainability tools and platforms.
  7. Contributing to the development of communication and training materials for sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including engaging with external stakeholders on sustainability projects.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools is highly beneficial.
  • A solid understanding of supplier sustainability standards and industry regulations is desired.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba, S/4Hana, and EcoVadis is a plus.
  • Cross-cultural awareness and international work experience are essential.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication/presentation skills are necessary.
