The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the funds industry or alternative HedgeFund experience. A completed bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance is required, and active pursuit of a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the production of daily, weekly, and monthly net asset value (NAV), ensuring completion of specified tasks per NAV checklist
  • Performing cash, position, and market value reconciliations between HedgeServ, brokers, and clients
  • Responding to client queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Identifying and investigating break items on reconciliations in a timely manner and liaising with brokers and clients on resolving break items
  • Escalating fund accounting issues and aged items to the Fund Accounting Supervisor
  • Ensuring all positions are priced correctly
  • Verifying corporate actions to ensure accurate processing
  • Preparing daily profit and loss reports and reviewing for reasonableness
  • Calculating and processing income and expense accruals, including fee calculations and trading accruals
  • Complying with HedgeServ's defined checklists, procedures, and controls
  • Assisting in the audit process if required
  • Conversing and liaising with internal service departments to resolve miscellaneous fund issues
  • Ensuring pre-agreed internal and external deadlines are met consistently
