Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Elicitation and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, clarify, and validate requirements for changes to our technical systems, ensuring value-addition to the organization through comprehensive banking domain knowledge.
  • Requirements Documentation: Deliver detailed requirement documents, including technically feasible and realistic functional and non-functional requirements, to support IT teams in thoroughly understanding business requirements for solution proposals, development, and testing purposes.
  • Consultancy and Training: Provide ongoing consultancy to stakeholders, training on features to other teams, and consultancy on production issues to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Project Management: Manage project approaches, build stakeholder buy-in around project plans, commitments, and changes, and organize programs and activities in accordance with project missions and goals.
  • Delivery Support: Support global teams in managing delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, and budget.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Work with IT teams to drive improvements in productivity through backlog management, maturity in Agile methodologies, and corresponding dependency management.
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in large-scale project or program management, with a proven track record in the HSBC business environment or an IT role.
  • Analysis experience and knowledge of structured techniques and Group standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations, and networks.
  • Knowledge of Java, React, Oracle, MongoDB technologies, and experience in managing projects powered by these technologies.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, risk, and issue management skills, and competency in Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and technical solution design and delivery processes for software product delivery and understanding of portfolio and program management.
  • Proven experience in working with globally dispersed teams and excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Good communication in English.
