Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Developer to join our Architecture and System team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction for AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Define and create guard rails and automatic compliance checks.
  • Support and standardize our DevOps pipeline.
  • Research and evaluate tools to support our pipeline, infrastructure as code, guard rails, and compliance checks.
  • Evangelize and advocate for standard processes and infrastructure as code modules across teams.
  • Support and mentor teams with the use of infrastructure as code and common modules.
  • Communicate project/work status orally, written, or other as required.
  • Connect with Product Owners, Chapter Leaders, Tribe Leaders, and Architects to understand and incorporate our infrastructure needs into roadmap items.
  • Bring cloud-first solutioning to designs and decisions.
  • Maintain and create documentation for applications, tools, or systems as required.
  • Ownership and support for designated services and components.

Qualified Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A proven track record in software development, build process, and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of software development platforms.
  • Extensive experience developing build pipelines, including supporting and standardizing multiple active build chains.
  • Experience with developing infrastructure as code.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • AWS Certificates preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:

  • Must work effectively with others in a team environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud Development.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong networking experience.
  • Experience with containerization.
  • Strong working knowledge of IaC deployment and tooling.
  • Experience with using and configuring GitLab and CloudBees CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interacting with Git repositories.
  • Excellent scripting skills.
