Job Summary:

As a leading global contract research organization, Fortrea is seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure access to our network, infrastructure, and online applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute IAM strategies to ensure alignment with industry-leading practices and implement modern cybersecurity principles.

Collaborate with stakeholders to support business objectives and establish identity as a security perimeter and zero-trust principles.

Implement IAM capabilities, including identity governance, privilege access management, single-sign-on, adaptive multi-factor authentication, directory services, and certificate services.

Integrate applications and systems that utilize IAM services for all authentications to our infrastructure, devices, and applications.

Ensure the provisioning, de-provisioning, and management of user identities and entitlements adhere to enterprise security standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Implement and run Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authority for internal and external business needs.

Work closely with our Managed Security Service Provider to deliver IAM services.

Support efforts to achieve and maintain IAM compliance with relevant security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and compliance regulations (e.g., SOX).

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years' expertise in cybersecurity and IAM solutions implementation and integration activities.

Proven experience and success with current and emerging IAM technologies, such as automated provisioning/de-provisioning, SSO, identity federation, multifactor authentication, role/policy-based access, virtual directories, privileged access management, etc.

Familiarity with federated identity and web services security concepts, such as SAML, Liberty ID-FF and ID-WSF, WS-Federation, OpenID, OAuth, and WS-Security.

Solid understanding of key IAM processes, concepts, and best practices, with the ability to design and implement them.

Experience with writing technical design (architecture, processes) and operational guidance documentation.

Good understanding of IT Operations, infrastructure support, operations monitoring, and end-user support.

Good understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes.

Ability to think technically, innovatively, and execute effectively.

Proven experience in collaborating across various IT and business domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are a plus.

Relevant IAM vendor certifications.

Work Environment:

Ability to work remotely, communicate verbally, in writing, and view on-screen content.
