About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Agility Senior Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Lean-Agile Center of Excellence, you will play a crucial role in shaping and defining the way agility is understood and practiced by our IT organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in workshops to align, review, and maintain common standards for processes, practices, roles, tools, metrics, and terminology for agility across the organization.
  • Review IT delivery setups, processes, practices, and metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify options for improving the usage of tools and automation, including the use of deployment pipelines.
  • Advise and coach teams and their managers on implementing lean-agile practices.
  • Present changes and report newly adopted concepts or definitions to management stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. A focus on process improvement or project management would be advantageous.
  • Work experience working in an agile team applying some of the following methodologies or practices: Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration.
  • Knowledge of and experience with change management and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Open mindset, the passion to work with people, and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluent English language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
