Job Description:

Amgen SA seeks a skilled Market Access Strategist to manage the market introduction of our products. This role requires close collaboration with regulatory bodies, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure compliance and accessibility.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement an effective market access strategy for new and existing products.
  2. Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files at country level.
  3. Collaborate with R&D, Medical, Marketing & Sales teams to secure broad product access for Amgen's portfolio.
  4. Take leadership of Health Technology Assessments (HTAs) at national level.
  5. Stay updated on emerging trends that might impact Amgen products and maintain a deep understanding of payers.
  6. Design and execute an engagement strategy with key payers.
  7. Contribute to Value Evidence Generation in dossiers and publications.
  8. Collect local cost data for CE and BI models.
  9. Map local payers and access influencing networks.
  10. Develop a comprehensive engagement strategy with key payers and opinion leaders.
  11. Support/lead reimbursement/pricing negotiations with payers.
  12. Provide input for local requirements in international value dossiers and payer plans.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Economics, Health Services Research, Pharmacy, Management/Marketing, Medical Doctor).
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading market access projects in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or related consultancy.
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of the local language is essential.
  • Ability to communicate complex HEOR issues to non-experts.
  • Strong project management skills for multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Cross-functional leadership skills within a matrix organization.
