Summary

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Expert, you will support the strategic planning, annual budgeting, forecasting processes, and monthly performance reviews for the EMEA Region. You will navigate high-value-added business analytics and drive the development of management presentations for this multifaceted growing region. You will build strong business partnerships with local commercial teams and work closely with the EMEA FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE), Leadership Team, and In-Country Finance and Business partners within the EMEA Region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cooperate closely with in-country business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets, and historical results.
  2. Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, standard operating procedures, and load budget and forecast adjustments into the system.
  3. Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget/strategic plan preparation.
  4. Coordinate escalation/identification of issues and advise Finance leadership of potential business and operational risks.
  5. Support the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost centre owner, etc.
  6. Perform strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision-making and business support.
  7. Support Finance leadership with process improvement, policy development, and strategic initiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and policies).
  8. Liaise with the FP&A Global Delivery Center (GDC) and other cross-functional leads to support the creation of budgets, forecasts, and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality/control requirements.

Requirements

  1. Expert in technical and financial knowledge, with a good understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles.
  2. A strong Analyst, familiar with accounting and financial analysis with 2+ years of proven experience with financial planning and reporting.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills with high proficiency in speaking and writing in English (another language with professional proficiency is a plus).
  4. Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), experience in JD Edwards (JDE), and HFM/FCC would be a plus.
  5. In terms of education, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, and Economics (or in a similar area).
