Production Director

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a seasoned Production Director to spearhead our creative production efforts at RED Creative Studio. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring that our franchise creative content and marketing materials align with our high standards of quality and innovation.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a deep understanding of the gaming industry and excellent management skills. As a Production Director, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and brand messaging of our games.

You will work closely with Creative Leadership, Marketing, and other key stakeholders across CD PROJEKT RED to develop and execute creative campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive engagement. This role is pivotal in fostering collaboration, enhancing workflows, and transforming our studio's creative visions into cohesive, standout deliverables.

Responsibilities
  1. Leadership: Lead and mentor a RED Creative Studio Production Team fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure creative production efforts align with CD PROJEKT RED's overall strategic vision and marketing goals.
  3. Quality Assurance: Work closely with Creative Leadership to develop and refine high-quality creative outputs and streamline production processes.
  4. Project Management: Oversee production processes, including project planning, scoping, scheduling, and documentation ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet CD PROJEKT RED's standards of quality.
  5. Talent Development: Build and nurture high-performing teams, providing guidance, mentoring and feedback.
  6. Asset Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of creative asset libraries, ensuring that assets are easily accessible and managed for future use.
  7. Partnerships: Forge strong relationships with external production partners.
  8. Financial Management: Manage department budgets effectively and provide regular financial reporting.
  9. Innovation: Be an advocate for innovation and improvement in creative production workflows.
  10. Communication: Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on project status, team progress, budget performance, and potential risks or challenges.
Qualifications
  1. Experience: 7+ years of experience as a manager in large-scale creative production teams.
  2. Track Record: Proven track record of delivering successful marketing and/or promotional campaigns with static and video creative elements.
  3. Passion: Passion for games and deep understanding of the gaming and/or entertainment industry.
  4. Cross-Functional Experience: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and creative production pipelines.
  5. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with budget management, project management, and technical proficiency with creative production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing workflows, 3D rendering pipelines, Jira).
