Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AML & Compliance Specialist to join our team in Krakow, Poland. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional looking to expand their career prospects. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding of merchants, handling customer applications, and performing risk assessments to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing activities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of services, maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing customer card applications in a professional, positive, and effective manner
  • Performing risk assessments and ensuring KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance
  • Handling ongoing due diligence (ODD) and other relevant anti-money laundering tasks
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high-quality solutions for all customer segments
Requirements
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing); additional language skills are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, law, or a related field; relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal education
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial crime compliance, preferably with a focus on AML/CTF
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and effectively manage priorities and deadlines
