About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Perrigo. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external partners to drive business growth and improve demand planning processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain statistical forecasts at various levels (SKU, brand, etc.) to enable prompt decision-making.
  • Interact with commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, etc.) to interpret market trends and demand drivers, adjusting forecasts to reflect those impacts and achieving consensus for demand forecasts.
  • Evaluate buying patterns of key customers and collaborate with commercial teams to assess the impact of promotions and events on demand, using what-if analysis to create scenarios and recommendations.
  • Work closely with channel/customer owners to understand the nuances of each unique sales channel/customer and reconcile significant variances, refining forecasts to reflect updated sales and marketing strategies.
  • Review trends in historical sales, forecast accuracy, and forecast bias to drive progressive continuous improvement.
  • Document and monitor relevant assumptions that drive changes in demand across diverse stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of annual plans and reconcile them with monetized demand plans.
  • Identify discrepancies and provide recommendations to improve demand-planning performance.
  • Demonstrate sound business decision-making aligned with company goals.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or a related Supply Chain field, preferably in the Consumer Self-Care or FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, and SAP IBP.
  • Proficiency in financial and business planning.
  • Understanding of supply chain planning and order management processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
