About the Role
Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) is a leading multi-line insurer serving people and businesses in more than 200 countries and territories. As part of our global strategy, we have established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, Poland to support advanced business functions.
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide technical support to users of computers, software, and hardware running the Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive first and second-level help desk support for IT incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Installs, upgrades, supports, and troubleshoots Windows 11 or newer, Microsoft Office products, and other authorized desktop applications.
- Provides laptop and printer, telephony, and software support/troubleshooting.
- Maintains and troubleshoots business applications and computers remotely.
- Manages tickets via SNOW tool, including escalations.
- Resolves problems escalated from within the Help Desk local function and Desktop Support area.
Requirements:
- Experience as an IT supporter in a multicultural environment is an asset.
- Technical knowledge in hardware area (laptop) is required.
- Familiar with administration of some MS-based systems, such as MS Office, Office 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Intune.
- Basic network knowledge and server systems, storage, security/patching, and application deployment are assets.
- Communicative level of English skills is required.
