About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at Imagination Technologies. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our engineering projects, from IP for integrated circuits to graphics drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical decisions and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Work closely with Technical Leads, Engineering Manager, and Programme Manager to mitigate scheduling, scope, or resourcing issues
  • Provide leadership and coordinate the work of technical teams of electronics engineers and software engineers
  • Understand and diagnose project technical risks and issues and guide solutions
  • Track project deadlines and communicate project status to programme teams
  • Create, manage, and report on a plan for internal resources to deliver products of the correct technical quality at the agreed cost and schedule
  • Protect the team from over-pressure and conflicting priorities and escalate issues to the Programme Manager
  • Work with third parties to ensure they deliver in support of engineering goals and contractual commitments

Requirements

  • Significant previous experience in technical project management within complex technical development
  • Ability to understand technical knowledge and ask questions to receive necessary information
  • Strong time and task management skills
  • Significant experience of managing technical projects
  • Understanding of engineering development processes
  • Experience of presenting to senior management
  • Attention to detail
  • Initiative and drive
