We are seeking a skilled IT Release Manager to join our international team at emagine Polska. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of new releases to our client's technology platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, plan, and maintain the release roadmap for one or more applications
  • Oversee multiple parallel releases, including release and deployment planning
  • Organize and track change activities throughout the release lifecycle
  • Lead release decision meetings, ensuring all stakeholders approve key milestones
  • Coordinate handovers from development teams to operations teams
  • Promote release quality and efficiency through automation, new techniques, and DevOps practices

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, we believe you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field
  • Excellent networking, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and manage tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture and deliver on commitments
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to quickly adapt to changes
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • A technical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate with development teams

Desirable Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management and planning
  • Prior experience in release or deployment management (preferably in the financial services sector)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management (preferably from the client's side)
  • Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
  • Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies
