We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Corporate Controlling organization as an Authorization and Approvals Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Streamline and optimize critical business processes related to approvals and authorizations within Hitachi Energy.
  • Define, deploy, and run an end-to-end update cycle for keeping up-to-date authorization tables at different levels of the organization.
  • Create and maintain detailed process maps for approval and authorization processes.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Support testing of workflow-related controls and be the contact person for internal and external audits.
  • Leverage technology solutions to enhance approvals and authorizations processes and work closely with IT teams to integrate workflow automation tools and platforms.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new tools.
  • Ensure that the Center of Excellence delivers high-quality and timely solutions and recommendations aligned with strategic goals and priorities of the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and outcomes of the CoE task project and invite and provide guidance for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, finance, project management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) and governance tools (e.g., Service Now, SharePoint) will be a benefit.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in process optimization, governance implementation, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in working in an agile and dynamic environment, and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse and senior stakeholders across the organization and external partners.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and another relevant software application.
  • Proficiency in English language.
