Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Kingfisher. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the financial analysis to ensure informed decision-making for key investment activities
  • Make Group Tech costs visible and transparent to stakeholders, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks
  • Work with Group Tech teams to improve forecasting accuracy
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders, representing the finance team and driving business outcomes
  • Provide financial analysis and accounting teams with timely and accurate information
  • Prepare business cases for Group Tech projects, linking them to budgets and forecasts
  • Take an active part in improvement projects, driving change and growth within Kingfisher
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Significant business-facing or commercial finance experience in a business partnering background
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, with the ability to work at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow through to completion
  • Strong ability to interpret financial information and deploy it effectively across the organisation
  • Proactive approach to driving efficiencies and improvements, with a demonstrable history of change management
  • Positive attitude, paired with a strong analytical approach, and the ability to work competently under pressure to meet deadlines
