Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join our team and oversee financial operations for our entities in Poland and the United States. This role requires leading a team of accountants, collaborating with outsourcing partners, and reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and closing of financial statements for Polish and US entities.
  • Supervise tax calculations, including VAT, PIT, CIT, and WHT, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare in-depth analyses and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing valuable insights into company performance.
  • Coordinate period-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Optimize accounting processes by implementing automation and increasing team efficiency.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to align financial goals with company-wide objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an independent accounting role or accounting firm, with team coordination experience being a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and tax regulations, including knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
