Job Title: Structural and Thermal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural and Thermal Engineer to join our team at Redwire Space. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural and thermal integrity of our space systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering principles to ensure that designed components and systems meet all requirements.
  • Develop and execute design verification campaigns in various launch and thermal environments.
  • Oversee structural, thermal, and environmental test activities.
  • Generate technical documentation, reporting, and presentations of design, test, and analysis results.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in mechanical, thermal, aerospace engineering, or other related degree.
  • 2-3 years' of relevant experience, with previous structural and/or thermal engineering roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of structural dynamics, structural testing, and thermal testing.
  • Experience with thermal and structural verification and analysis using Creo Simulate, ESATAN, ESARAD, FEMAP, and NASTRAN.
  • Experience with programming languages such as VBA, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Ability to write and communicate technical reports in English.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written - in English and Polish.
  • Willingness to travel.
